We are the best and most knowledgeable in the Kansas City area and probably the US. The owner has been in this industry for over 30 years. A note to the experienced client that is thinking about changing their hair provider. I have 1 question. When you are talking to people face to face, do you see their eyes wonder up at your hair? If so, there’s something wrong. Either its too low on your forehead and every time your eyebrows move, so does your hair or its too thick, too dark or just too fake. It could also be a bad cut. If this is the case, you need to not walk but run into our shop. We do this because we love the way it makes you feel when we’re done. It’s not all about the money like the big places. There’s a reason we have clients all over the country and some outside the country also!
Thinking Ahead
During COVID what Andrea did, (she had zero income because we don’t take payments), was to contact her supplier and ordered a year supply of hair for all of her “Hollywood” clients. She predicted there would be a shortage of hair. NONE of the big Companies (and probably most of the smaller companies) did that! She knew it would be expensive but took good care of her clients. There are some places that continued to take their monthly fee from their clients even when they couldn’t perform any services. Then a year after, they still couldn’t provide hair for their clients. Some were on 9 – 12 systems a year, but only got between 1 – 3. That is not right! Now we are seeing clients from other companies that are panicking because there’s nothing available to them. My clients have not been stressed and have been able to maintain their look even during a shortage of supplies.
We do not order from China unless necessary. Other companies do. (I cannot disclose where we order from, but it’s a good one). Products from China are usually half the cost of what we provide, yet we still charge less or comparable to the larger companies. Clients that need 12 systems a year with them usually only need 6 – 8 with us. Those that need 4 with them usually only need 2 with us. You see where I’m going? If you paid us the same as they charge, you still will only pay ½ or a little more. The fact is, Chinese products are usually lesser quality, lesser hair quality and they subcontract to other countries like North Korea and other impoverished countries for cheap labor. These countries also enslave their own people to work for free or at next to nothing. Do you really want to support that?
Back to Us vs. Them
With us, you pay as you go. Everything’s A-LA-Carte. If you pay for 1 system, you get 1 system. If you pay for 6, you get 6. If you want to come in every 2-3-4 or 6 weeks, you pay for your services then. Everybody pays the same so there is no bartering. It’s a pretty simple set up. We are an honest company with an honest hard-working staff.
